Angers Loire Airport took part in the 2nd edition of the Territoires d’Anjou trade show, the gathering for mayors and local authorities in Maine-et-Loire, held on 9 October at the Athlétis centre in Les Ponts-de-Cé.
A gathering at the heart of local issues
Organised by the association of mayors and presidents of intercommunal bodies of Maine-et-Loire and by the departmental council, with the support of the municipality of Les Ponts-de-Cé, the Territoires d’Anjou trade show brings together all of the region’s stakeholders: municipal, intercommunal, departmental and regional elected officials, local authority staff, businesses and partners.
This 2nd edition notably welcomed a visit from François Pesneau, Prefect of Maine-et-Loire.
Discussions through round tables and exhibition stands
Throughout the event, round tables and stands provided an opportunity to discuss the needs of municipalities and solutions suited to local challenges, with a shared ambition: to build “vibrant, fair and welcoming territories”.
Housing, mobility, ecological transition, energy, natural resources, digital technology: the themes addressed have a direct impact on residents’ daily lives and offer elected officials practical ideas for designing and delivering their municipal and intercommunal projects.
Our presence at the show
The Airport was present with a stand, which allowed us to meet elected officials, local authority staff and partners from across the region. It was an opportunity to discuss our role in mobility, accessibility and the economic vitality of Anjou, and to talk with local authorities about their projects.
These direct exchanges with local decision-makers are invaluable: they help us better understand the needs of the territories and continue building suitable solutions together.
We thank the organisers for their welcome, as well as everyone who stopped by our stand. See you at the next edition!
